Build Planner
Build your local AI rig
Compare a complete parts list, used-market alternatives, and the upgrade paths that change the total cost.
Prices are catalog observations with a date shown for each part. Values without a current observation are not rendered as current — verify availability and fit before purchasing.

How the planner works
- Why are some recommendations used gear?
- The catalog may return used-market search alternatives where they fit the declared requirements. Search links are generic and explicitly unverified; compare current listings, seller terms, and return policies yourself.
- Why are retailer links included?
- Retailer links are disclosed because they may fund LocalRig at no added cost; they do not change resolver hardware fit, ordering, alternatives, or a defer/no-purchase outcome. Disclosure.
- Why are search links included separately?
- Some catalog parts do not have an approved direct retailer route. Those links open generic Amazon or eBay searches and are labeled explicitly as unverified so you can check current listings yourself.
- What is NOT recommended, and why?
- Each generated profile includes resolver compatibility errors and non-fit caveats when they are available. We render those limits instead of hiding them; a fit is not a promise that the rig matches every workload.
- Where do these part recommendations come from?
- From the LocalRig hardware catalog (
verticals/hardware/) and its compatibility resolver. Each profile includes source URLs, verification dates, price observation dates, alternatives, and any non-fit caveats returned by the resolver.
